NASA and Planetary Geology

An Introduction to Planetary Geology and NASA Solar System Exploration. The field of planetary geology was invented in Arizona during the training of the Apollo astronauts before they went to the Moon in the 1960s.  In this presentation we will learn what planetary geology studies, the status of NASA’s program of Solar System Exploration using robotic spacecraft, and do a quick tour of the objects in our Solar System.
