Televeda was selected by CivStart to pitch at the 2024 Government Innovation Challenge and Pitchfest. This is a joint challenge with government entities of Richmond, VA; Los Altos Hills, CA; Miami Dade County, FL; Arlington County, VA; Houston, TX.

Local businesses across the country need support and local government is often where they turn. During this challenge and pitchfest, startup solutions share their ideas, meet key local government leaders, and compete to win a pilot opportunity with one or more of the five participating municipalities.

Successful solutions will address one or more of the following aspects of the challenge:

• Ecosystem Building

• Access to Government Resources for Entrepreneurs & Residents

• Workforce Development

• Data for Impact & Decision-making

The challenge is to be held in the Town Square Room at the Kauffman Foundation Building in Kansas City, MO. The Challenge is an integral part of CivStart's mission to foster innovation and collaboration within local communities. 10 finalists will compete in a pitchfest on April 30, 2024 to determine winners.

Televeda plans to share projects and innovations in which we worked with local governments to further our mission of increasing connectivity (and improved mental health) for vulnerable communities.
